The 2010

The film, in fact, in just over an hour shows a lot of other things: that the documentary can be as exciting and most of the fiction, the art films, even when experimental and sought to get to know the heart of every spectator that two apparently distant worlds, that of religious works and independent cinema, they can communicate and create something important.
The mouth of the wolf tells the story of Mary and Enzo, a transsexual and a former inmate who met in prison and never lasciatisi. Divided by the prison, with Enzo in for over twenty years and Mary waiting for him outside, the two met in 2001 and now they can finally become the protagonists of their own adventure. Marcello tells it with style precise and a poetic documentary that borders on fiction, carugi the close of the port and the old archive material recovers the memory of a place and time lost. With the voice and face of his heroes carved with scenes of natural and other recited, with the audio tape that he sent to prison for Mary Enzo, with a glance share and curious, Marcello brings to life a story of ordinary crime through self-denial that has become absolute love.

Synopsis
Christine is a young woman forced the wheelchair by multiple sclerosis. More out of boredom than out of conviction has agreed to take part in a pilgrimage to Lourdes, but here seems to agree with everything that happens condescension, from evenings with volunteers and other patients bathing in the sacred spring. Nothing seems to dent his confidence in life, until an incident disrupts not only his confidence but also of those who are around.
Lourdes is one of the most surprising film of the film last season. Without sarcasm or malice, light years away from a confessional cinema or, worse, ideological, the young Austrian director Jessica Hausner (his first fil Hotel , never arrived in Italy) will address the problem of faith so alienating and yet authentic, telling the mysteries of religion from the point of rational life and curious about secularism. At the center of it all is, of course, the most visited place of pilgrimage for Christianity, where up to now very few films are shot because it's almost impossible to shoot with the necessary permits. The production of the film but has been approved and the first of the film is just about to enter the world of Lourdes, both the sacred and the induced that led to the sacred: hotels, shopping, restaurants, caravans, coaches, gadgets , statues ...
The Hausner plunges into the universe that revolves around the "miracle machine", exploring the plot of ambiguous relationships, unfulfilled hopes, ill-concealed envy that alternate uncertain waiting, perhaps impossible, the miracle. Its not a documentary, even if the scenes "from life" in the cathedral to pray with the sick are very intense. Nor is it a film about the gullibility of the religious or review on a topic ironic easily exposed to a legitimate skepticism. The feeling of the film is the opposite of respectful delicacy, a glimpse into a universe governed by a strict ritual in which the clash carefree vitality of the young nurses and volunteers, the illusions of the sick, the unstable equilibrium of a mutual emotional dependency.
Set in the history of Lourdes of a sick young woman and looking for the miracle, the Hausner, with modes at once caustic and compassionate, can lead not only physically but also "ethical" one of the most complex of the Catholic faith, fearful of a concentrate expectations, hopes and suffering. The place where faith is questioned and put into a crisis every second, bouncing back and forth between those who would like a response, and who - but how? - That should give the same answer.
Unfazed, objective, never hateful, Lourdes is constructed as a highly symbolic story centering on one of the major themes of our time: the anniversary of the miracle of faith in society contemporary. What is a miracle today? What sense is the miracle in a world where the media magnify every action and every banality of everyday life in exceptional? What place is there in our world for a special event planned, but not rationally comprehensible? Inexplicably happens to the protagonist to stand on his legs the day after the abduction. A miracle or just a temporary weakening of a cruel disease? Between faith and science, the film places his car, one that may at any time to believe everything (anything goes to the movies), comparing it with the truth of an event and its potential.
