The movie of the week - December 15
The mouth of the wolf Peter Marcello
The 2010
of auteur cinema, which has trails and canals almost entirely unknown to the mainstream media and, conversely, invisibility to the limits of censorship, had, among others, a great little player. A great little film that is haunting Europe, sometimes even coming from overseas, picking up awards left and right: it is The mouth of the wolf, directed by Milan-born Pietro Marcello bells, and a documentary who was able to knock down a shot of all the prejudices and the parties made against a general (rather, a way to look and story) that now compete on par, if not surpasses, and fiction.
little over a year ago, in November of 2009, premiered at the Turin Film Festival , Mouth of the Wolf won in a surprising way the public and the critics and took home the first prize at the international level, starting a triumphant walk in almost all other festivals in which he participated: in February came the most prestigious award, the Forum of the Berlinale , that is the most experimental section and searching for the Berlin Film Festival, and a few weeks after the Prix International Cinema du Reel to Paris. Even before then, in early March, the film Marcello was honored as important for an Italian independent cinema release. One way to defeat by force of the quality of the poetry and the silent war that the vast and unparalleled distribution and programming of peripheral multiplex (cinema really the only city not frequented by the public) at least ten years to move from the art-house cinema .
course, the permanence of the film in theaters was very short and the number of tickets sold anything but exciting (to prove, after all, what the world festival circuit and the canons are light years away), but ' out in cinemas has granted The mouth of the wolf a subsequent version dvd Feltrinelli and almost certainly on television: not bad, in fact, for a film cost one hundred thousand euro and built on commission of a religious institute of the Jesuits.
Yeah, because the mouth of the wolf is the brainchild of San Marcellino Foundation of Genoa, who has been assisting the homeless community in the city, and was then entrusted to Peter Marcello and small businesses The experimental production and Indigo Film: a brave choice, and not only to celebrate not having thought of the Jesuit Opera, but his actions and the people who accept it.
The film, in fact, in just over an hour shows a lot of other things: that the documentary can be as exciting and most of the fiction, the art films, even when experimental and sought to get to know the heart of every spectator that two apparently distant worlds, that of religious works and independent cinema, they can communicate and create something important.
The mouth of the wolf tells the story of Mary and Enzo, a transsexual and a former inmate who met in prison and never lasciatisi. Divided by the prison, with Enzo in for over twenty years and Mary waiting for him outside, the two met in 2001 and now they can finally become the protagonists of their own adventure. Marcello tells it with style precise and a poetic documentary that borders on fiction, carugi the close of the port and the old archive material recovers the memory of a place and time lost. With the voice and face of his heroes carved with scenes of natural and other recited, with the audio tape that he sent to prison for Mary Enzo, with a glance share and curious, Marcello brings to life a story of ordinary crime through self-denial that has become absolute love.
"From the manure created the flowers," wrote De Andrè in a song dedicated to those same streets, those same persons at the same time. But it is not the past that The mouth of the wolf Watch: spoke in a voice clear and yet experimental, born from the union of human and professional experiences different yet close, shows that not only can another Italian cinema, but also another Italy. Who's Italy, religious, director or an ordinary citizen, down the street and observes, listens, understands, saves.
The mouth of the wolf Peter Marcello
Synopsis
Among the alleyways of the port of Genoa, in neighborhoods known as the popular parlance "the mouth of the wolf", it depletes the story of Enzo and Mary, his ex-convict, she tranny, that after they met in prison, they have never left and continued to love each other. Divided by the prison and hardships of a life, with Enzo in for twenty years, and Mary waiting for him outside, the two are finally reunited in 2001 and now, free, poor but happy, talk about their adventure in front of the camera . Stomach Flu Virus In Phoenix
Film of the Week - December 8
Lourdes Jessica Hausner
Lourdes Jessica Hausner
Synopsis
Christine is a young woman forced the wheelchair by multiple sclerosis. More out of boredom than out of conviction has agreed to take part in a pilgrimage to Lourdes, but here seems to agree with everything that happens condescension, from evenings with volunteers and other patients bathing in the sacred spring. Nothing seems to dent his confidence in life, until an incident disrupts not only his confidence but also of those who are around.
Lourdes is one of the most surprising film of the film last season. Without sarcasm or malice, light years away from a confessional cinema or, worse, ideological, the young Austrian director Jessica Hausner (his first fil Hotel , never arrived in Italy) will address the problem of faith so alienating and yet authentic, telling the mysteries of religion from the point of rational life and curious about secularism. At the center of it all is, of course, the most visited place of pilgrimage for Christianity, where up to now very few films are shot because it's almost impossible to shoot with the necessary permits. The production of the film but has been approved and the first of the film is just about to enter the world of Lourdes, both the sacred and the induced that led to the sacred: hotels, shopping, restaurants, caravans, coaches, gadgets , statues ...
The Hausner plunges into the universe that revolves around the "miracle machine", exploring the plot of ambiguous relationships, unfulfilled hopes, ill-concealed envy that alternate uncertain waiting, perhaps impossible, the miracle. Its not a documentary, even if the scenes "from life" in the cathedral to pray with the sick are very intense. Nor is it a film about the gullibility of the religious or review on a topic ironic easily exposed to a legitimate skepticism. The feeling of the film is the opposite of respectful delicacy, a glimpse into a universe governed by a strict ritual in which the clash carefree vitality of the young nurses and volunteers, the illusions of the sick, the unstable equilibrium of a mutual emotional dependency.
Set in the history of Lourdes of a sick young woman and looking for the miracle, the Hausner, with modes at once caustic and compassionate, can lead not only physically but also "ethical" one of the most complex of the Catholic faith, fearful of a concentrate expectations, hopes and suffering. The place where faith is questioned and put into a crisis every second, bouncing back and forth between those who would like a response, and who - but how? - That should give the same answer.
Unfazed, objective, never hateful, Lourdes is constructed as a highly symbolic story centering on one of the major themes of our time: the anniversary of the miracle of faith in society contemporary. What is a miracle today? What sense is the miracle in a world where the media magnify every action and every banality of everyday life in exceptional? What place is there in our world for a special event planned, but not rationally comprehensible? Inexplicably happens to the protagonist to stand on his legs the day after the abduction. A miracle or just a temporary weakening of a cruel disease? Between faith and science, the film places his car, one that may at any time to believe everything (anything goes to the movies), comparing it with the truth of an event and its potential.
Lourdes is a film Intelligent, ruthless, ironic and compassionate, devoted and caustic. A European film genre in which copyright no longer seems to bet. For once he did the Italian distribution and it has facilitated the movement and diffusion. It should happen more often.

Line Cook Resume Example
Film of the Week - December 1
The four times Michelangelo Frammartino
panoramic backdrop of the Calabria Jonica intertwine four episodes, fragments actually of a single story. That of a soul through successive four lives: an old shepherd who lives his last days, the birth and first weeks of life of a kid to the first pasture, the life of a fir tree through the seasons, the transformation spruce in the old coal through the coal trade.
After the good result at the Cannes Film Festival , where he was selected (and loved) the Directors' Fortnight and after winning the Europa Cinemas Label prize - to support the European distribution - comes the second film from source Calabrese, who was born and lives in Milan, even if "his" Calabria is hidden between the mountains and countryside the set that privilege. It was in Gift, his first film, returns in which yesterday won the Silver Ribbon (assigned by film journalists) the special tape. It really is a special film Four times, the poetry of cinema rooted in the essence of life. As the seasons that inspired the title, which are also the steps that matter in the universe through human, animal, plant, finding each of them a new function.
The test was hard, a long process to address the need to film the changing seasons, and especially the possible "ghost" of onset that had made him known internationally ( The gift was presented at the Locarno Film Festival). Of the previous film that keeps the loving and caring for landscapes and light, the composition of the shots and the relationship between those who live (the assembly of perfect balance is Benni Atria), showing a more safety conscious in the reciprocity of narration images.
We are in a small village, an old shepherd in the fields every day brings his goats. He is accompanied by the dog that watches the flock. The 'old man is ill, has a bad cough, take care all night drinking a little water in the holy ash that passes a pious woman. One day it loses the precious package, look, she runs to the sacristy, but now it's night and the door is closed. The next morning, the goats are waiting, the dog barks to the villagers who prepare the procession but the man does not arrive. The goats are dying in his bed, surrounding him as if to say goodbye.
Second movement, the birth of the kid. Now the goats are the main characters, funny and savvy in front of the camera - must have been incredible patience and work to capture those magic moments of humor, "goat." We see them in the barn, grazing, hypnotic gaze on us (other than The Men Who Stare at Goats ) the flock in some ways reflects the community of humans. One day the kid is lost in the forest and falls asleep under the big tree. Third movement, the huge fir is about to be shot down. It is indeed time to prepare the pita, the holiday that celebrates the fertility in the country tradition. The whole country is united in the effort, and then in songs and dances. At the end of the rite, in the fourth movement, the wood becomes charcoal for the winter, a wisp of smoke in the infinite horizon of the sky ... This parable in the look of
Frammartino becomes simple (and universal) as a fairy tale. The "once upon a time" the director takes us gradually into the essence of an ancient world, perhaps destined to disappear, which in its dynamic - gestures, rituals, bond with nature - it expresses the deep sense of the world. We could say that is our Frammartino Apichatpong Weerasethakul , its mountains and forests are not populated by ghosts as the Thai jungle, but we also return the memory, and that breath out of time in which things come together to to become one.
No pompous tone, however, nor any aesthetic appreciation of the beautiful picture-of-a-po'-empty - even if the shots are magnificent, painting and condense invention. The challenge of Frammartino is that of cinema, that's where the feeling passes, spirituality, history. His images "document", filmed the reality nell'imprevisto in detail and in the flow of existence of all living things. And invent a personal dimension, in secret, tell a mystery. This is their power, it is here that fail to retract the eye of the viewer, a surprise to take him elsewhere. Theirs is in fact an open horizon, which offers no explanations and neither imposes a guided reading priority. Give a home run instead of wonder, thought, sweetheart.

Template Dental Recall Letters
The movie of the week - November 24
Synopsis Ten years after the masterpiece Happiness, shocking hypocrisy of bourgeois American analysis, Solondz takes characters and plots of the movie, however, changing actors and locations. The protagonist is always the Jordan family, which recovered yet from past failures and again struggling with fragile Joy, left alone after her husband's suicide, with the hysterical Trish, mother of two teenage children and former wife of a pedophile released from jail , and the billionaire Helen, Hollywood writer incapable of being happy. Time has passed, in short, but little has changed.
forgive and forget, or rather (as in the original title), "Life During Wartime": life in wartime. And there are many "wars" that the American director Todd Solondz , one of the fathers of contemporary independent cinema, filmmaker and columnist committed, ruthless in this movie that will reach the heart of America in the twenty-first century with a speech by family as you always political, social and philosophical. The film firm's illness, "Bush's permanent war" with the private hatred of the heirs of pedophile father, a quiet right-thinking that psychiatry in the previous film had ended up in jail for abuse of a child in elementary. Breaking the vicious circle of revenge, stop thinking of war as an absolute present. "Forgive the terrorists of September 11?" Asked the lady Trish resentful old son to Jordan. "But if they had tortured and killed your loved ones, do not you do something too horrible?" Replied the son eager to forget the sins of the father, Mr. Bill Jordan, just released from prison. The indication is the neglect of 'something you have done too badly. " If you do not forget the evil instincts are transformed into spectra persecutors who poison the lives of all.
Feeling frozen, minimalist style, huge problems, Todd Solondz is one of the few great storytellers of our times wounded. The first to take the slow and relentless change of sensibility and sexuality, from children to adults and adolescents to get. The only one to combine the comic and the tragic with a distracted tone as implacable nailing viewers to the screen and characters to their responsibilities. In Wartime no one is innocent, and no one is only really guilty, but each carries the weight of what it is and its consequences. Imagine the humor of Woody Allen made a thousand times more cutting and grafted onto a world of ad inventory, but made from a digital photo, glossy, bright surroundings anonymous and insignificant as any non-place of modernity.
In Solondz film nothing and no one is beautiful or seductive yet everything is real sensitive, significant, each person has a right to our compassion, mercy has every horizon not only for the life of the individual but the world, love and war, the West and the Middle East, religion and desire, closer than it appears at first sight. Here is the war in Iraq - and one of the sisters said "we are still a country at war - and then there's a war fought by all members of this family of American Jews with their own aberrations, falsity, and horrors disappointments. And, although never stated, but deep heart of the film, there is the "war" with infinite history of the Jews, all clotted, and yet always on the theme of forgiveness as a possibility for peace and the impossibility of forgetting as the fate of war. There is no escape from the horns of this paradox place with conscious determination Solondz. Unable to forget, you can not forgive. Unless, as suggested by the young Timmy, is not better to clear the memory, remove, rather than suffer. But if this is a choice that each individual can do on his private history, what can be done by the collective history, to their shared responsibilities. So it seems to say Solondz in this film in which private and public destiny and history, tragedy and forgiveness continually challenge each other in a battle without end.
Forgive and forget is an ensemble film, hard and intense, drawn, clear as a graphic novel, beautifully written and played by amazing actors.

Groping In Bus Vedioes
Completed the fifth book
The fifth book in the series, the most challenging so far, has finally ended. Write the part set in the past is much more complicated than expected, as things to be considered are increasing and it is important not to miss any details (because of course all that after I write will be affected). To close this window to the past is therefore the sixth book, which will close the circle projecting a recovery in history where we left. Yes, I know, some are already waiting, but I doubt that the text will be out before late spring 2011.
Meanwhile I am rearranging the second book, which will be available by Feltrinelli in early December ... I wish I had more time to devote to editing, but unfortunately this is the kind of time that can now be considered a luxury. Rereading it, I consider "The Blood and Grace" the most important book among those produced so far. I do not know if it is also the most beautiful, that I do not have to establish it. In any case, I take this opportunity to take stock:
1 The Guardian of moths
2 Blood and Grace
3 The shadow of what is left
4 The upper part of the sky
5 Wolves and guard dogs
I take this opportunity to thank every reader, irrespective of the history that has come to the many questions about the plot and characters that never fail to leave me speechless: it is strange to hear the various theories and predictions about "what happens", not to mention "how it will end! Sometimes I almost forget to be the author, as if the whole thing taking on a life of its own no longer bound to my taste and my decisions ... I do not rule that has already happened and that even my noticing it, even if this is a ' another story ...

the outskirts of Hamburg, a cook of Greek origin, Zinos, manages a negligible restaurant frequented by a rough and not very demanding clientele. Forced to rest by an accident, takes on a new Zinos cook, a visionary chef of nouvelle cuisine, the restaurant that transforms into a trendy and change the lives of its patrons and its owner.
With humor to sell, a turkish-German director Fatih Akin , former director of the dramatic Head- and The Edge of Heaven , says the global society with a play alive with a kaleidoscope of characters and events from the point of absurdity. The film is set in a restaurant for those who need stuff to loyal customers, has a protagonist with overweight the herniated disc (played by Adam greek Bousdoukos, who is also writer), and a wonderful soundtrack that mixes funk and rhythm & blues with hip hop, rebetiko greek and a song by Hans Albers. As can be easily understood and to understand after a few minutes, is a screwball comedy because today you have to be a bit 'hit and be romantic Soul Kitchen of Fatih Akin everyone is so crazy to want to do only what they like. So in the end win the good, the bad are punished and those loser worthy of a film Kaurismaki finally right to lightness and good humor of a musical with Fred Astaire.
Author, screenwriter and producers have repeatedly said that Soul Kitchen is a modern Heimat, or home of a movie idea, then, modern, community, family and belonging. That is really the maximum for a film shot and directed by children and grandchildren of immigrants: Akin is indeed of Turkish origin and in his previous films have always dealt with the suffering and displacement of his condition, but never with a look so light and light-hearted as in this case and indeed often indulging (and excessively) in the family drama.
Because in the end, despite the tragedies (family and others) continue to happen and overrule the chronicle of our times, things can change. At the movies, of course, where you just need a bit 'way for the resolution of images, a first class musical knowledge, a flair for the really cool of time (in this case, for example, the kitchen like), and some sound principle to make a film against the original and unconventional to tell from a contemporary point of view as unexpected as it takes.
Soul Kitchen, for better or for worse, all this is: a funny movie, funny, loud and sideshow, a mixture of cultural influences and identities of modern society, past and blend for an hour and a half of comedy that although the minutes went astray with the relentless pace of the first part, manages to maintain a steady force of his irony and his good nature.
Akin, born in Hamburg to Turkish immigrants, is then returned to his hometown to kick off an uproar of friendship, love, mascalzonaggine, madness and paradox returns with affection, but without the atmosphere of indulgence border line of multi-ethnic port city and enjoyable. It is certainly not unexpected development of the plot, but the rousing cadence of recitations, dialogues and the soundtrack makes the images authentic, intelligent, mocking and included protest against the dismantling of old, expensive (and filthy) industrial districts not pedantic or ideological.

The movie of the week - November 10
The father of my children Mia Hansen-Love
Synopsis The film is the story of Canvel Grégoire, a man who has everything. A woman who loves him, three lovely daughters, a job that passion. Does the filmmaker and devoted to his work all the time and energy. The family suffers, but understands it. He has charisma, Grégoire. He produced many films, took many risks and accumulated debts. His Moon Films is on the verge of bankruptcy. He resists at all costs, but the failure is evident, the irreparable harm. Cornered, he chose to bow out with an extreme gesture and no explanation. Others, again, the task of understanding.
The father of my children door to the cinema the story of sad Humbert Balsan , French producer of great directors of arthouse cinema as Youssef Chahine, Nasrallah Yousri, Claire Denis and all those authors in the world, from Tajikistan to South Korea, looking for a partner willing to take risks and believe in their projects. A passionate man, Balsan, who like the character in the film is named Grégoire Canvel loved the film like few others, open to life and art than the art itself and stopped and walked on.
But what in life was the failure of a professional man and its project in the hands of the young director Mia Hansen-Love becomes a sweet, intense family melodrama. French-born Austrian, was felt as early as the semi-autobiographical Tout est pardonée, in competition to ' Alba International Film Festival in 2008, the Hansen-Love has learned the craft from Olivier Assayas , for which worked as an actress and by which it is the lesson of a cinema close to the bodies and faces of the characters in the physical substance of the images, but intimate, private, almost spiritual in the predominance of feelings and emotions
The father of my children play on the expectation and the construction of an ideal world: The first part is a long prelude to something that has to happen and will happen, as if love were the only family that can actually be once everything disappears and ends. So, far from a plain narrative, but in favor of a tale told of meetings and conversations, small and great happiness, the film builds up heat, affection, spontaneity, beauty and freedom when in pain is just unbearable because of what built that can be credible and sincere.
Because when the story seems to overwhelm the characters, when the event takes over and makes biographical finally turn the narrative, what the director is chosen to free the film, not to push the machine to the pain or to privilege the economic issue. Chooses to bring up the characters in the first part of it as the center of the film, plus the presence of a ghost that emerges because of its absence.
The father of my children, then, begins to follow random paths, dead ends open, notes and films the bodies of the four protagonists move in a world where the absence, paradoxically, is the only definite presence. The protagonist becomes partial and discreet especially the young daughter of Gregoire, the girl who mixes sadness and anger in solitude adolescence. The director enters gently, and near the feelings of women, knows how to make real in their dance of laughter and tears, small epiphanies like a candlelit dinner or when the girls enter the office for the last time father and the face ' without taking away the memories: a business card, waste of film of an old movie.
The father of my children is a film about cinema, but cinema as a vehicle of life and beauty, because just talking about relationships, love, growth, confused. It is an extraordinary film: Mia Hansen-Love should perhaps too much to the cinema of its models, but eventually emerges in all her femininity and becomes a sad story and sad in a hymn to life.
PS: Fun fact: the film titles, names of directors and the posters hanging in the study of Grégoire Canvel have been changed, but the events of productive Humbert Balsan and clips of films he has produced. The film is seen during the retrospective in Paris is The angel's right shoulder (2002) by Jamshed Usmonov , who plays himself, but under the name of Kova Asimov, while the film that led to the failure Balsan, here directed by a Swedish man was actually in London by Hungarian Bela Tarr, was stuck for two years and then finished in 2007 and presented at the Cannes Film Festival.

Departures of Yojiro Takita
Synopsis After the dissolution of the orchestra where he played as a cellist in Tokyo, Daigo Kobayashi Yamagata returns with his wife in a rural province in the north of Japan. Looking for a new job, Daigo responds to an ad for an "aid to the departure" convinced that this is a travel agency. In reality realizes that he has to do with the funeral agency. Driven by economic necessity, however, accepted Daigo the place. Immersed in this world unknown to him, the former musician discovers everything about the funeral rituals, continuing to hide his wife the true nature of his work.
Departures was one of the most pleasant surprises of last season's films. Built in 2008, winner of 'Best Foreign Language Film Oscar the following year (this year's prize went to the secret of his eyes, playing at the end of the bill) in Italy came out as usual with a delay abysmal, thanks to the work of the small production company Tucker, born from the collaboration between the circle of the cinema WCC Cinemazero of Udine and Pordenone, who has been organizing in the vital FarEastFestival Friuli, where the film is over.
Contrary to expectations, however, the film was a success, especially in that segment of the audience of adult men and women, but not that much older, more and more agencies often tend to forget the market and which the times are likely to reverse market expectations. On the theme of the film, perhaps, of the delicacy with which it is treated, the finesse with which it is set up an exhibition of cultural anthropology disguised as a narrative People: the fact is that Departures (means "death", departments, and it is unclear why the hell have decided not to translate it) is one of the most successful arthouse films of recent times, a little movie that unexpectedly is large and touches the hearts of many unexpected visitors (at home and has grossed more than 60 million and defeated the Israeli Oscar Waltz with Bashir, which, however, told mo 'of the way, deserved much more ...).
Alberto Crespi has written on the drive, Departures "is a film about death so peaceful," but above all builds a story that has a central theme in death, but that is its breadth of breath many times, "the contrast of city / state and modernity / tradition, the acceptance of death as a last moment of life, the essence of the Rite in Japanese culture. "
Here and there, slowed by the desire to lighten the story and not un'estetizzazione request of the Japanese countryside, Departures is an acute observation about death and the relationship we build with it. The death is for the living, not death, the film seems to say. But above all, death is close to the body of the remains, makes its presence forces us to look at concrete and eyes, to wash, clean, shaved, coating, through the still warm body of one who is gone. The work of the protagonist is that of a ferryman, that is the one who helps the dead to appear in good condition in the presence of the afterlife, but most importantly it is a secular priest, acceptance of suffering. 'The living beings eat dead creatures to live. The exception is plants, "he says his teacher, and therefore the body is a necessary and unavoidable presence in our lives, a reality that Western culture tries to avoid perhaps, worse still mystify, and that is in the East high through the delicate ritual of dressing and makeup.
In this sense, Departures is a film that celebrates the trick as a necessary form of protection against the reality of life and the inevitable presence of death, because the relationship the protagonist has with her work, with its delicacy and its depth, helps him to rediscover the meaning of life and lost at the same time helping people and assisting in the face of attending a macabre and moving his show to accept death through the acceptance of the joys and sorrows of life . Therefore, a film that is praise of cosmetics, makeup, and by extension the film itself: a film of the past, narrative, legends, symbols in a little ' bold or naive, but sincere in his own way, made to the general public and the general public rightly rewarded.

What To Write For A Wedding Card
The movie of the week - October 27
Synopsis In a building Piazza Vittorio in Rome, is in a stage show of daily coexistence between different ethnic groups. Under the eyes of the concierge malicious Benedetta, browse a bourgeois woman who despises the domestic Ecuadorian, a university teacher in Milan, a lawyer who retired after the suicide of his father, a bully elderly who live by their wits, a condominium with the defect model of philanthropy and an exiled Iranian seeking political asylum. A mysterious death in the lift force to cross the condominiums their lives and raise underlying tensions. Watch the trailer
Opera before a small film director Roman and trying to tell today's Italy with the weapon of irony and outrage civil Clash of Civilizations Over an Elevator in Piazza Vittorio is adapted from a novel by Amara Lakhous (publisher and / or). An ensemble film set in Rome in the Piazza Vittorio, not far from Termini Station, which once housed a market, and today has become the refuge and the new immigrant communities in the Middle East and China. A place that seems about to explode, not because of the tensions that will meander (that where there is a flourishing trade in the coexistence of people is easier), but because the rules of living in our country seem to be subverted, with pale faces the Italians and their antiquated rules or do not respect that seem out of place, literally (and not to sit behind the slogan of the League) "foreigners in their homes."
The novel idea, taken up and developed by the director Isotta Toso, it's all here: take a historic building in Rome, a symbol of an Italian soul glorious but now uncertain, and make a patchwork of people, nationalities and ethnic groups to serve as the symbol of the Italian multi-ethnic society. A society still fragile, as a matter of definition, torn between rejection and acceptance, coexistence, and forced the mutual exploitation of their resources.
In the film all the characters live in the building a bit 'shooting protagonist: Iranians, Arabs, Africans, Algerians, Romans, illegal. All argue with everyone, and for any reason: for use of the elevator, the dog barking always on the nerves because it's hot, it's summer, because must always going to wait and talk to the police station. Live badly, every time someone dies, and then others are forced to stop and wonder, perhaps with difficulty, the reasons for which they prefer confrontation to dialogue, lite by comparison.
In the best tradition of Italian comedy, choral stories heralding the backdrop of a working-class Rome, the film is constructed as a moral parable and openly challenge the danger of the assumption pedantic and didactic, rather trying to make the paradox and cliché of the possible interpretations of the millennium Italy. Not always Isotta Toso is successful, puts all his ideology on the table and perhaps exaggerates in the doses, but the pamphlet has the courage of the undertaking, makes a few claims to common sense amid the ruins of derelict and the cast works well in the contamination of styles, mainly due to Serra Yilmaz (the actress's favorite Ozpetek ), Roberto Citran , Milena Vukotic , Isa Danieli, Ninetto Davoli .
Clash of Civilizations Over an Elevator in Piazza Vittorio will not be an example of the Italian cinema that will take us out of the crisis of ideas and looks that always hits this country (as may be the next film of the program, The four times and The mouth of the wolf), but is a healthy breath of fresh air that makes you think with a smile on the major and crucial issues of our open society. If you do not think about politics, after all, that is fine cinema.

While this cinecircolo projects Invictus - The invincible , the 2009 film released worldwide in early 2010, the United States is already in theaters on new work Clint Eastwood , Hereafter, presented at the Toronto Film Festival a month and expected in January in Italian cinemas. Last May, then the director of both films has made eighty years and has been interviewed a few weeks ago where it stated have intentions of making films until his death. We thus hope gets as late as possible, if the price is having to watch every season one or even two Clint Eastwood films , a little 'what happens in the film festivals with the works of the centenary (and now immortal) Manoel De Oliveria.
Eastwood has accustomed us to a very prolific and a very high quality of his films. And even if jobs are not up to the last of his masterpieces, among all Unforgiven (1991), A Perfect World (1993), The Bridges of Madison County (1995), Mystic River ( 2003) and Million Dollar Baby (2004), with Invictus - The invincible confirmed to be the author's moral cinema, classic, and it has always been accurate.
What started as a project of his particular Morgan Freeman, who had a dream of a career in the interpretation of Nelson Mandela (which completes the task in admirable fashion), has become in the hands of a great author work on the morality of human actions and the ability to change history through the daily action. So this is not the praises of a popular character and unique, but the simple story of a human and political, Mandela, who can teach each of us how to intervene personally on their fate.
clear: Invictus - The invincible is perhaps among the least personal film Eastwood, a commissioned work too smart to be authentic (by chance arrived in the world of South Africans) and too mythicized for the entirely credible. But the criticism that can move are formal in nature, not, paradoxically, inspired or need. And for once, perhaps it is better to leave aside the sacrosanct request for aesthetic rigor and focus on the reasons that led Estwood and his screenwriter Anthony Peckham to adapt John Carlin's book and tell the story of how Mandela was able to unite a country in the name of rugby and of civil society after decades of apartheid.
In this sense, as written by Roberto Escobar, "the problems facing the film are two. The first show is already in the subtitle Italian. It is not invincible, Rolihlahla Mandela, Nelson said. Rather, it is not a win: his moral and political measure is not the (dangerous) the hero, but the common man that the difficulties and sufferings become a leader, as stated in his autobiography (Long Walk to freedom). The second danger concerns the way we "feel" the movie. " And that is the way by viewers - and viewers accustomed to Hollywood movies, the way is always the same with a narrative structure that makes the daily epic - we react to the events narrated by the film. Invictus - The invincible calls for emotion, participation, wonder at the extraordinary figure of Mandela himself is the protagonist of the film, the great leader of a nation, not in itself be a mythological figure or extraordinary. Mandela, by contrast, like the understatement, it does what is exciting in itself, not because he is looking for her, the emotion. Therefore, the look of the film on its main character is ambiguous, at the risk of misunderstanding, with one hand the desire to and exalt the other, the result, successful, to make it human, to paint him as an ordinary man who has been able to make extraordinary choices. "If I were no longer able to take risks," he says at one point the secretary, "I would not be a leader."
is then that perhaps the film is important for reasons far removed from its original intentions as a work that is not elegiac, created to celebrate a man and his people (for more through a sporting event which had long been imposed on suspicion of imbroglio, accused the South Africans to poison the food of New Zealand the evening before the World Cup Final), but as a work that "still" the emotions Mandela's moral awareness, his exceptional everyday. "And in this," says Escobar, "makes clear the moral consciousness of the director (...) in the consciousness of the individual is the value of each choice, and consciousness of many individuals can make the world a better place."
In the end, then, despite uncertainty stylistic surprising for an author of this stature, it seems that Eastwood has made Invictus - The invincible one of his most mature works: not between his best, but the most simple and direct, more open to the general risk emotion.

Organic Honey Honey or conventional?
From the site many people ask me what's the difference between a conventional honey and honey. I answer you here.
There are many elements that characterize an organic honey from a conventional
.
First, the wholesomeness of the product, the bees can only be

All of these things for those who buy a product certified as organic are not just

News': the vinegar, honey bees
honey vinegar
In 2008 we decided to start a small production of this particular vinegar with the advice and cooperation of friends and industry experts. What I propose is really our first production because as mentioned earlier we made the choice of vinegar is aged in oak barrels for at least 5 or 6 months to further improve its characteristics. Surely, given the limited production, not will never be our flagship product, but wants to be a treat to share with friends and clients who appreciate and discover the characteristics of this product is amazing for the fragrance and its flavor but also for the delicacy with which he met with many dishes.
E 'vinegar oldest known to man, is already used by ancient Egyptians, a very long time before the discovery of the vine. Its taste is pleasantly sour, light and digestible, very fragrant and golden brown, honey vinegar is rich in enzymes and minerals. Worked all raw, without the use of additives and preservatives, thus maintaining all the properties that tradition and recognize the science.
Vinegar Honey comes from a vegetable substance, enriched by bees, and transformed through the alcoholic fermentation and acetic acid (which by themselves are one of the most spectacular and amazing demonstrations of force of nature). The quality of a vinegar is directly proportional to the quality of the raw material base and the production process and this honey vinegar is produced by our company through the natural fermentation of alcohol and acetic own honey.

Emt B Summer Course Colorado
After a long break due to work commitments and connections dancers, I can finally go back to writing! And I'm going to announce, in view of the numerous requests, the first of the final book is being distributed! For the sake of selling price (the logic behind it is halfway between the Mafia and usury) I was forced to rethink the order of presentation: maxivolumi by 3 instead of 4 books each, 12 books will simply be much smaller; nevertheless I have not given up even a word of the original narrative, which I had promised myself from the beginning. So, today, The Guardian of the moth, the first piece of the work, is available in the following channels:
- in the library by Feltrinelli, Italy in any point of sale;
- on site Feltrinelli www.lafeltrinelli.it, just enter the title or "Ziliani" and it is found;
- www.ilmiolibro.it on the site with the search method described above;
- those who know me can ask me directly I have a discount of some € of which I would gladly use (so do not gain anything from sales, so ...).
So these are the news! I thank those who are already reading in one way or another, and even that is giving me feedback I was hoping ... and also thank those who is having a preview of the later books, for their encouragement is really important. I promise that in the coming days I will post a synopsis of the book, of course without revealing anything, adding as well as some excerpts that might give you an idea ... will be hard to choose!
Good evening to all! (And good World Cup!)

Big Brother Quotes For Picnik
PLAN OF
Today to rattle off technical details ... then, on balance, end up being more important than the content of the book itself, at least in the perception of those publishers (and here I do not add much, if not hell broke loose ...).
Then, as the early work is in four volumes, each consisting of three books, I will now explain: 1
GUARDIANI LOST
first book: The Guardian the moths
second book: The Blood and Grace
; third book: The Shadow of what is left
The first volume is already closed. In early 2010, I rearranged (epochal work, given the amount of material) and should soon ... well, this reserve as a surprise to me the next day, better not to bring bad luck alone ...).
2 VORTEX OF ANOTHER ETA '
first book: The upper part of the Sky
, Book II: Dogs and Wolves guard
book Third: The Fall
necessary introduction: the second volume acts as prequel to the first, which already includes many flashbacks that are going to then get stuck with the new narrative. Needless to say, things will be discovered so much! The first book is already completed, I intend to finish the whole volume by 2010.
3 THE LAND WITHOUT FORGIVENESS
The third volume will resume where it left off with the story first. I make this jump double time to provide a key to understanding a little 'different than usual, leading to revised several times 'idea that one makes of the various characters. Only time will tell if it works!
4 THE MARK OF THE DYNASTY
At first I did not anticipate fourth volume, but then the story has taken on proportions and implications that would require a final step. I'm almost sorry to ask one more effort to my characters, some even longer young, but there will come a time when inescapable truth will emerge from the centuries, he concluded, that force them to get back on the field. For the last time ...
Here, someone starts to speak, also rightly, that as usual I love complicate his life ... that maybe I could come up with a story, clean and well-written, to be completed in 300 small pages with a round ... Sure, I could ... but I did not want, at least not yet: there are already too many cuts, too many compromises we are forced to work every day, I can not think of having to do in this area ... This is how I imagined it, wishes, dreams ... maybe a little 'feared in some parts ... But I can not think of having to hold even as I write, does not exist. This, however, is another story ...

Overview
So, let's do it right ...
"The Black Legend Omega" (hereinafter LON, otherwise you would not if it comes out) is an opera in four volumes, each of which consists of 3 books.
Do not ask me to identify a gender because I assure you that is impossible. It 'fantastic narrative but it is not fantasy, there are no elves, dwarves and company ... the base can be defined as such only because they live in a fantasy world, fully functional to the story and its needs. There is plenty of action, but it is not an adventure novel in the strict sense there is surely as much introspection, which makes it impossible to unbalance even in that direction. Surely the psychology character is dominant, perhaps because of my personal and professional bias, and actions are simply a reflection of whether you make choices, to fight, to sacrifice, to lie.
What's it about? Talk about a mystery that can metaphorically encompass all things unexplained that human beings of every age inherit the hundreds of generations before him. It speaks of a world divided in two, literally, for reasons that only the last page reveal in their entirety.
The first volume marks the beginning of the narrative, but the story is immediately apparent that many things have already happened, we must discover them together with the characters, who each have a different level of knowledge of the past. I promise that soon I will go over the concrete! This is only the beginning!

Calorie Count For Braums Fruit And Yogurt
the adventure begins ...
Why do mountains look blue? They appear blue because they are distant, while nearby is the nostalgia that colors our eyes ...
I do not know why, but the first words that I naturally have to write them. Perhaps because they have to do with a state of mind, nor by a particular time, but with a real way of being, a tendency to paint things in a certain way. So rather than begin by explaining the purpose and nature of this small space, I preferred to deal immediately with a tiny excerpt from the opera I'm writing, and I will stay with me for several years. Apart from everything and everyone, because I am her and she is me. When I finished the four volumes of The Legend Omega Black, a fragment of something that was already established in parts will be in place: what I am, what I was, what I want to be, what I'll never be. .. everything is in it, without compromise than those dictated by the limits of my time and my speaking skills. At this point, that the adventure begin ...
